Match Day Party

Mia is a football mad little lady that plays for both Altrincham FC U9’s and Aston on Mersey U10.

But her biggest dream is to be a lioness one day.

Matchday Charity

Today’s match day sees a continuation of the Altrincham Community Sports Teams’ Men’s cancer awareness campaign. Today is designated to raising awareness around Prostate Cancer & we are combining this with the focus we as a club traditionally afford to this important subject on Non-League day. Once again we hope to provide educative material & support meaningful conversations. We will have a presence in the community Sports Hall before the game and you will see social media platforms sharing useful resources & information.

Finding symptoms early will increase your chances of survival. You can check your risk online in 30 seconds and learn about a free blood test you can get from your GP:

Prostate Cancer is the biggest cancer in men with 55,000+ diagnosed each year. Regrettably because we have no screening programme in the UK 20% of those men are diagnosed terminal when it’s too late to cured like myself and Sir Chris Hoy were. That’s over 10,000 men every year and we also lose 12,000 men each year to this awful disease. 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed in their lifetime and the risk is greater if there’s a family history or the man is black.
