Alty Leadership academy

We are delighted to launch the Alty Leadership Academy in 2025, to support young people in secondary school who are struggling to engage with mainstream education.

Fully funded by the National League Trust, we will be supporting selected pupils in local secondary schools for one afternoon per week, where they will participate in sports / social activities and attend lessons on STEM leadership to support their personal development.

Each student will earn the Level 1 Qualification for Leading Activities in STEM or Level 2 Qualification for Leading Activities in STEM in partnership with the Leadership Skills Foundation.

Head of Community Simon Dow was keen to highlight the importance of the programme “We are delighted to be able to launch this new programme after a very successful pilot with Altrincham College in June 2024. Using the experience of our coaching team and the excellent STEM activity leadership programme, we aim to support selected young people by re engaging them with main stream education to support their futures. None of this would be possible without the funding support from the National League Trust”

The programme will be led by our specilast team who have extensive experience in this area and are passioante about supporting young people fulfilling their potential in life.
