We are delighted to announce an exciting new programme that will support the players and volunteer coaches of Altrincham JFC Girls for the next 12 months.
Funded by Graham Wood, Co-founder & Director of Wiseup Networks, the programme will consist of a 6-week CPD programme to support the volunteer coaches who manager, coach and support the players who represent the girls’ teams for Altrincham JFC.
The CPD programme will consist of support for planning, session differentiation and how to manage the team on a matchday to ensure substitutions and game time are managed.
Head of Community, Simon Dow, is excited about the new programme and wanted to highlight the importance of the relationship with our junior teams:
“The support provided by volunteer parent coaches is invaluable and enables the children to participate in the sport they love every week. Although the role is amazingly rewarding, it can also be difficult with the amount of time required to plan & deliver sessions, especially if coaching isn’t something you have done before. This CPD programme is aimed at supporting the amazing work they do and will support their development as a coach, while also supporting the players who play for the Junior Girls teams.”
Rachel Davies who organises the Girls section of Altrincham JFC was delighted with the new support.
“Altrincham FC Juniors are delighted to receive the increased support for our volunteer coaches and players from our girls’ teams. The commitment that our volunteer coaches provide though time, energy and dedication is something we can never repay. By supporting their coaching development through a CPD programme tailored around session differentiation, planning & session delivery.”
“Wiseup Networks is proud to provide much needed support for coaching opportunities at Altrincham FC to enhance the training for ambitious and talented girls, reflecting our commitment to the local community and our strong partnership with the club as dedicated Business Club members. As an Altrincham FC season ticket holder and long-term supporter, it's fantastic to be able to personally give back to a cause that uplifts and champions the next generation of talent at the club and in the local area.” - Graham Wood, Co-founder and Director of Wiseup Networks.
